The 2017 guided Halibut fishing regulations in Alaska has been set by the International Pacific Halibut Commission (IPHC). For those of you who fished in 2016, this will not be much of a change at all. They have decided to give us 1 extra inch!
Area 2C (Sitka) 2017 Guided Halibut Regulations is as follows:
-Size (Reverse Slot Limit): Under 44 inches (~40 lbs) or Over 80 inches (~277 lbs)
-Per person per day: 1
-No Annual Limit
