Sitka Fishing Report: Rise of the Kings

The King salmon fishing has been good throughout the month the June, and at times - great. After a slow first few days of June for the Kings, they definitely have come on strong since. The nice run of Silver salmon have also shown up earlier than usual, with the boats bringing in about a handful or more of Cohos everyday since the end of the first week of June. Halibut fishing has been the best it's been in years, with almost guaranteed limits if the weather cooperates.
